It All Starts Here ≪3. Poem by Macy (Nina) Dvirnak

It All Starts Here ≪3.

Rating: 5.0

The choices you make today
Will effect you tomorrow.

However,
Never let your past determine
Your future.

God has a plan
For your life,

But now it's time
For you to do
Your part

It is time
For you
To make a difference,
To be
The difference

God can,
But will not
Make this decision for you,

Because,

It All Starts Here.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
You are the only one that can make the decision to allow God to take hold of your life, and to turn your life around. God has the ability to force you to do what He wants, but God is not a tyrant. He created you with a free will to choose him, or to instead choose things that do not last- emptiness. You can try to ignore God, or choose to completely deny His existence, but that does not change the fact that an all powerful, eternal God, Who created the universe, and created you, CARES ABOUT YOU, and DESIRES, to have a RELATIONSHIP with YOU. YOU MAY AKNOWLEGE that God indeed does exist. you can go to church, you can be a good person, and you can even read the bible from cover to cover, but this is NOT what gets you into heaven, nor is it what makes this life worth living. once you have said yes, god, I choose you. I accept your gift of eternal life, I repent of doing everything opposite of what you expect out of me, and I thank you for your, sacrifice, your freedom, and your unfailing love.
you see, if you think you can get to heaven by being 'good enough', you are piteously mistaken. god doesn't role that way. he doesn't look at you and say, 'I hereby decree, because so and so did these marvelous deeds, I grant them entrance to my holy city, and I also give them life forevermore.' God also does not look at you and say, 'I hereby decree that so and so shall go to hell because they have done all these disgusting deeds.' NO!

GOD LOOKS AT A PERSON AND SAYS, ' THIS PERSON HAS DISOBEYED MY CAMMANDS, AND DESERVES ETERNAL DAMNATION,
BUT,
THIS PERSON, ON THIS DATE, ACCEPTED ME AS SAVIOR AND AS LORD, AND HAS CHOSEN TO FOLLOW ME, AND TO SERVE ME. THIS PERSON WAS GUILTY BEFORE ME, BUT STANDS BLAMELESS NOW, BECUASE MY SACRIFICE HAS COVERED THIER SIN, AND THEY ARE A NEW CREATION, IN ME. I THERFORE GRAT THEM ENTRANCE TO MY HOLY CITY, AND LIFE FOREVER MORE. WELL DONE, MY GOOD, AND FAITHFUL SERVANT, WELL DONE.

So, what do YOU choose?

I choose to allow God to intervene, to turn sadness to joy, and my pain to victory.
