It Goes Both Ways Poem by Ray Hansell

It Goes Both Ways

Give your heart
To a love that's true
Don't love him
If he don't love you

Hold him in your arms
If that's what your heart says to do
Don't show him affection
If he doesn't show it to you

Though his lips
May taste like wine
If he doesn't kiss you back
With him, don't waste your time

Love should be, shared by two
It should never just be one way
If you're with someone like this
Than pride should tell you to walk away
