It Is This Nothingness. This Love. Poem by RIC BASTASA

It Is This Nothingness. This Love.

Rating: 5.0

i wish i traveled alone.
it would have been happier.
I wish you were not with me
i would have been more excited.
With you, i have become another
slave, for i have to listen to
you.I am mesmerized by your love.
I am no longer myself.
My feet betray me and so do my
hands, which are now doing
what you are telling them.
i wish i have not loved you.
It is this love that enslaves.
It is this love that betrays
myself. It is this love that
created all the confusion.
And so i have to let go and
let this love burn itself
until it is gone.
I am the ashes under my feet.
I am blown by thewind.
It is this nothingness.
This love.

Travelling alone with happy mood is good and experiencing life is nice. Love makes life cheerful and this is ever nice....10

Deep feelings well articulated and nicely brought forth with conviction. An insightful piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing, Ric.
