It’s A Flat Tire Poem by Liyo Denorte

It’s A Flat Tire

From the sound of it
We’re not heading any further
Ignoring street lights
You go ahead and bumped yourself
Into your own tragedy
Smashing yourself into tidbits
Of self confusion and indecisions
I tried to calm you down
Tried to guide you
I thought you’ve learned your lessons
I thought we’re heading back on track
But you’ve already said the unnecessary
Mindlessly changed into 3rd gear
Your head, ballooned with your own dogma
Burst into white flooding lights that screams to your heart
Boom!
a dilated pupil
Wherein all you see
Is just what you wanna see
