It's finally done the day I have always dread
I was finally able to get you out of my head
I done with the thoughts of loving you
I done with given my heart to someone untrue.

I woke up this morning with a smile on my face
I decided to get ready at a slower pace
I took the time to let the sun in my room
And watch as it took away my doom.

I feel like something has been lifted off of me
I feel like I have the strength to finally see
That you were not the right guy
No matter how hard either one of us would try.

Well it's over and done
Time to move on
It's finally done the day I have always dread
I was finally able to get you out of my head.
