I know sometimes you feel alone
Like nobody is there
You think the world is giving up
You don’t think that they care

You feel like you’re invisible
Like no one sees your pain
It’s like they just ignore your tears
You’ve cried over and over again

But if you stop and realize
You’re not really by yourself
I was always by your side
I was there when you needed help

I tried to do all that I could
At times you were in need
I was always standing behind you
But yet, you didn’t see

I was always there for you
I was your shoulder when you cried
I was the one to pick you up
At times you wanted to die

I cried when you were hurting
I bled as you were in pain
You hurt me more than you hurt yourself
And there’s only you to blame

I never turned my back on you
I gave you all my love
I tried to do all that I could
But I guess it wasn’t enough

You just wanted sympathy
And I was the one you’d call
But at the times I needed you
You sat there and watched me fall

I can say I’ve learned a lot
I’ve learned how to forgive
I can say I’m moving on
But NEVER will I forget

So all the times you just give up
You’re not just hurting you
It’s not just you who feels it
Cause inside I’m dying too
