It's Over Poem by Tex T Sarnie

There's no forgive and forget this time,
too much has been said and done.
I know that you're not entirely to blame,
but one of us has to make a decision.

We both have said quite sufficient
for us to arrive at this point of no return.
Apologising had become a verbal exercise
because we were unwilling to change or learn.

Giving it one last try has been tried too many times before,
and we always arrive back here.
Lets just bring this relationship to a decisive end.
Cut all ties once and for all, and make that perfectly clear.
