It Starts Again Poem by Tina P..

It Starts Again

With all this struggle and all this hate, its hard to find love and hope.

A piece taken away; in its place stands knowledge.

Controlling a life so easily distracted, tempted by all that seems great.

Deceit fills the world causing this disease.

The hurt of your heart is something infectious; affecting each thought, each choice, each breath.

When all you do is think; battles inside you fighting in each direction.

When not knowing truth and going off what-ifs.

Something better comes and lets you down once again.

Feeling fatigued from the war; growing tired of each argument.

Even worse is how you don't know what to do.

Floundering around like a fish out of water; so confused and mindless.

A day passes, but doesn't distract you.

Wishing it would.

Questions, comments, concerns; unpoken and unheard.

Remaining blind.

Wash the world and all my sins.

Take away thought and anxiety.

STOP contemplating life.

Its starting to hurt again.
