It'll Only Take A Minute Of Time Poem by Lauren Coles

It'll Only Take A Minute Of Time

They might look like regular people on the street,
People don't realize that people who serve are heroes because they don't have their uniform on,
They risk their lives for others never knowing that it may be their last day of life,
People don't say thank you to heroes,
People take average of seeing their families while heroes can't watch their kids grow up,
They can't touch their family though a computer screen or kiss them good night,
Heroes don't interfere in a situation to be the villain but they just want to keep the community safe,
Rules are meant for everyone to stay healthy and safe and help communities thrive,
You can write a letter to a hero and pay for their meal,
Repay the favor for all they've done for you,
It may not seem like much but it'll mean everything to them.
