Its all in the mind
The uninitiated say
Where else could it be
Where is the mind anyway?
I've been under the knife
And sewn together again
Had bits and pieces removed
And recovered again.
But the bits removed by the surgeons
Did not come from my brain
Just giblets and other bits
To help some other types of pain.
I'd climb up, if I could,
Just be prepared to wait around
There is no set time
Neither minutes hours or days
My life seemes life - less
t i m e l e s s
A grey clammy
Smothering h a z e
There was a time
I would walk for miles and miles
Simply attempting to clear my fuzzy head
But on bad bad days
I'm loathe to leave
My home, my room, my bed.
I might snap
Snap at you
But snap out of it
I cannot do.
I cannot always help you
To help M E
Although YOU think that I can
Please be patient
Talk and L I S T E N to me
And yes
Love me as I AM
