Ivy Poem by Isabelle Cote

Dew drops on silky green leaves
interwining
wrapping around....soft flowers
grows peacefully,
over time
as it sprouts, it enlaces itself around trees
green
that is the ivy

what am i seeing?
i am seeing
the blue skies
the flowers embedded
climbing taller
that is the ivy

a web
takes longer to make, yet stays forever
shimmering in glorious beauty
and that is the ivy

dew drops along the silky green leaves,
