As long as lived I
So long lived I in shayaris,
When not
Bade I goodbye,
Just with emotional words said entombed
Read themsometime you again
And to remember me
In your leisure time.

You went away
But your comicality,
Your mockery,
Your laugh,
Your cracking of jokes
Lived they as the residues
You went away
But your voice stayed it here
Nestling in emotions and feelings.

Your hearty jokes
Remember we till now,
Your shayarana andaz,
You closing the eyes, winking at
Making joke, mockery of,
Pinching.


Jab tak raha
Tab tak shero-shayari mei raha,
Jab nahi
Tab alvida kaha gaya,
Bas meri jajbaatei rahi tabut
Usko fir padha lena
Aur yaad kar lena
Fursat ki ghadi mei.


Aap to gujar gayei
Lekin aapka mazak,
Aapka maskhara,
Aapki hansi,
Aapka tattha
Jo raha gaya,
Aap to chalei gayei
Magar aapki awaz to raha gayi yahan
Jajbaato mei apna ghar banaa kar.


Aapki dillagi
Aaj bhi yaad hai,
Aapka shayarana andaz,
Aap aankhei mund kar
Mazak udatei huyei,
Chutti katatei huyei.
