Jaded Knight Poem by Knight Fizzstorm

Jaded Knight

Rating: 5.0

Placing her pure kerchief upon my breast
beneath orange shields gold raised falcon crest,
sol's emblazoned heat inflames shaking steel
lance gripped steady by armored hand linked mail.

Auric Hues restless, sidewinding footing,
alert, neighing, proud backed, front legs hoofing
sandy dirt, visor lowered, slitted light,
peripheral vision vanishing sight.

Suffocating aloneness fear driven,
battle call to challenge duly given
spurring his proud frame beneath my iron worn
he galloped hard toward adversities form.

Lance slightly raised over dividing gate
charging madly toward infinities state
fettered heart pounding gold falcon flying
crashing hoofs press forward voice crying;

'Boon to my heart, protect me in this joust,
honor and glory to my father's house.'
Flowered fields appeared in the tumbling light
reflecting off the toppling Jaded Knight.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This message was received by the beautiful Lady Endomorph.

Lady Endomorph is most pleased that she has entertained Knight Fizzstorm and wishes him most luck and endurance in tomorrows contest, she would offer her tissue for him to champion but regrettably she blew her nose pon it earlier.....So she will just watch but twill be silently cheering for his safe return...Please forward Clavicus......Lady Endomorph.

I regrettably forgot to inform Knight Fizzstorm that I substituted a kerchief for the soiled pon tissue. The old knights eyesight is poor and his hands were gloved.
Notwithstanding the slight deceit this is the first joust he has ever won!
We thank and honor the beautiful Lady Endomorph. (not her real name but it will
be duly recorded if the dear lady so desires.)
