James And His Brother Poem by kathleen bartholomew

James And His Brother

James and his brother
were doting on each other as they pretended to play.
They were thinking things out, like they had been told,
They should be more grateful and not so bold
to take for granted all that they had,
and not even say-
thank you in a grateful way.
James worked it out and soon added up
the prices we have to pay,
his rabbit cost 20 his lap top a thousand and Joe!
Well he was free.
He carefully said ‘where does that leave me? ’
