Today is Play God Day,
And sure a hectic play—
Playing God it could well be—
A day of plateful plenty
To do in course of just a day
Seeking to get past petty self,
Say, an angel, a fairy elf,
And go beyond one's desires,
Warm weary hearts with sacrificial fires!
