Jaxton Poem by Brandon Mackey

Jaxton

Little blue eyes
how they seem to hypnotize my truths
I am now my father, like his father
I hold my son.
I care no more about searching
for our meaning of life.
I am complete at least my half
Now I am here for the other
is my new task and reason
clever he's appeared
in only 5 months or so
Already my expectations behind me
He has exceeded my knowledge of all
Little blue eyes you impress me
Only to you can I fall
You have given me power
now nothing can-not be done
I love you Jaxton Paul Mackey
I am blessed to hold you, as my son.
