You can't love me when I am I
And you can't be living when you lay down to die
You can't try to change what you did wrong
And you can't always act like you love me that strong
You can't just give up when everything goes bad
And you can't try to ignore it when you are sad
You're running away from the world you don't know
And you're leaving before you give it time to grow
You're always afraid of what you don't understand
But I was afraid because of your plan
Your plan to hide me away from yourself and the world
You were afraid you'd lose me but I'm not that kind of girl
You'd change the positioning of the planets just to please me
But you can't do anything that would truly make me happy
You can't make me smile or skip and hum
And you don't sing to me or hold hands and run
But you can't let me go even though we're dragging each other down
And you don't like it if I tend to roam around
Because you think you're the only one who can make me happy
But you have no idea how wrong you can be
I love you my dear, but you have to let go
This relationship is toxic as you know
And I need to be free while you make up your mind
Because jealousy is only one of a kind
