Jealousy Poem by emily henson

Jealousy

Rating: 5.0

I see him smile
Grinning at another girl
I don’t want to
But I have to turn quickly
For fear he will see the sadness in my eyes
I don’t want to
But I have to constrict myself
From jumping into his arms
Telling him how I feel
But I know he wouldn’t
Be able
To return the gesture

you have penned a feeling few admit to, in the simplest of ways, in the most ordinary of occassions...brave, very brave.
