Jesus Came Poem by Gary James Smith

Jesus Came

Rating: 5.0

Jesus Came

Jesus came as God Himself
To us in human form
And in a fashioned humbleness
Which was absolutely not the norm
Our Creator became created
Through the act of a virgin birth
Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit
The Saviour of this earth

And living as a lowly man
He experienced all we do
And never a sin charged against Him
For He was Faithful and True
Imagine if you can for a moment
God became a man?
And identified with His creation
To provide Salvation's plan

The miracle of God still prevails
In the "new birth" of each one
The operation effectually shared
By the Father...the Spirit...the Son
And sins Divine Terminator
In the person of Jesus Christ
Who by the shedding of His precious blood
Paid in full our ransom price

O glory Hallelujah
Sings this sinner redeemed
So thankful for His special birth
And His love that was SUPREME
To take my place upon a cross
That I should surely have borne
Praise God He came as Jesus Christ
Dismissing the tempest of sins storm!
