"What A Nice Life I Have" was, with Jez Brul, a 'hit'.
Now she wants a sequel.So today I'll write a BIT....
.....MORE.
Perhaps two** years of marriage has passed since what first....
I wrote.... about my 'nice life'.NOT 'bad' years.Not the worst
.....I've had.

In several ways they've been better years, take note.
I'd be more SURE …if I could remember what I wrote ……
before.
I've reached seventy years old.No big deal.I don't care.
Hair's still grey, as is some formerly-white underwear.

I've had some body ‘minuses' to offset some ‘pluses',
nothing big either way.No need to ask what (the)fuss is.

One ‘big deal' for me occurred January 28th this year:
I had a tenth wedding anniversary.Hear! hear!

because the ‘separation' "dragged on", & I, , Bri, was then...
again, LONELY! ]]

My diet is perhaps even BETTER, at least as good.
I'v gone to McDonald's less, but I would …..
go MORE, if it weren't a long walk just for ice cream.
I'd buy a gallon, IF I thought "she" would not SCREAM!

["she" = dear wife]

I don't walk as much; I don't want to buy shoes AGAIN,
but if I kept walking on pavement, of course THEN ….
I'd have to.
But I get some exercise, like this gardening season,
as "she" insists on MORE PLANTS (‘without rhyme or reason') !

I sometimes gripe about my ‘garden chores', BUT in fact ….
it gives me somethin' to do AND limits spouse CONTACT.
Otherwise, if "her" computer was ‘free', I just MIGHT ….
sit all day at PC, ‘eating' a Gazillion Megabytes!

Now, don't misunderstand me.I love my wife; I do!
It's just that ….Well, tell me, married men: "Ain't it ….TRUE? "
True that it's great to wear a wedding band, …and YET …
a spouse often thrives when s/he, some "downtime", does get …..
…..from "Him" or "Her"!

For instance, "she" has been on some very LONG trips of late,
and for most she's traveled with others.It's been great! !
I know she'll be back ‘where she belongs' (barring death) ...
and in her absence I'm "free".It is a bit like "A Breath …
...of Fresh Air"! !

AND.....

This reminds me of why else I have a ‘nice life'.
I get to 'play' on PC, where there's hardly any strife.
There I practice being ‘good' …with poets known or NOT,
such as Jez, Andy(Paul) , Bharati, et al.Gee, there are a LOT!

Nudershada, Mark, Simone, Chris, and Valentin.
I have so much fun with poets and poems.Is it sin? !
If sin it is, I want MORE!Akhtar and Rose Marie.
And to think I get all them and MORE …all for FREE! !

Fog Runner is still "running at the mouth", but I like HIM;
he's just like me:running at the mouth, NOT at a gym! !

….find when I ‘need' them!

Most are in My Friends list here, but some I weed out,
due to ‘underuse'.And new friends will surely come …..about.

From shore to shore, over land and sea, friends are spread.
If I die, rest assured ….my poems can STILL can be read
