Jim Reeves, who died before my birth
By Ruma Chaudhuri

In the misty dreamful night
You came in the dream as a king of light
I became so happy that tears came to my eyes
I felt that it was a bliss of Paradise.

You sat beside leaving your crown
Till then my tears were rolling down
When in the mist I heard your rich baritone voice
It echoes in me and my senses rejoices.

When in the morning I opened my eyes
I saw the beautiful sunrise
As you came as an angel of light
And filled up my senses with bliss of Paradise.
