Job Well Done Poem by Sarah Littleton

Job Well Done

God created me and he created
you just at different times.
He looked at both and was pleased
with his creation. He smiled
and said, "a job well done." Then came the time I looked into
your eyes and face and saw
the love. You held out your arms
as we held each other close, I
laid my head upon your chest,
closed my eyes and whispered,
"Thank you God for this job well done."
