Join The Battle Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Join The Battle

As the time of victory dawns
The day Gods' flock desire
When devils flex their horns
To fight, to flee hell's fire

Nothing will stop, Heaven's' forces
Christ's bride trained instated
For battle, clad on their horses
Ordained' before created

With trumpet blowing, beating drum
Darkness facing the light
Though the devils know the outcome
Till their bitter end; they'll fight

With God's standard high up waving
Rallying saints around
Sinners, now Jesus is saving
Will gladly there be found

Snorting are heard the stallions
Each fearless royal mare
Bearing Christ, The Lord's battalions
Triumph's glory to share

Will you be joining Christ today
If not you have before
Though weak, through strong, young, old and grey
Open to Christ your door

Though anxious, perhaps you're feeling
Heaven will understand
With heart, with soul, head reeling
Reach out your willing hand

Consider, if hesitating
Know everything is well
Devils all anticipating
To burn in endless hell.....
