Joy
i was looking for wounds
that time had healed
i scratched for them,
and pined for my pain
what truth was i trying to find
how hopeless the search was
i was born a seer the poet
but tried to deceive my own sight
now my head is about to burst
i can feel the rush of blood
there's no joy in my broken poetry
my pain, my love
are you coming back to me
