Junk Food Poem by Farina Afrin Malik

Junk Food

Carefully the can of Pringles
Seems to fall into my hands
Oh come on just give me one chip
My friend frustratingly demands

All the biscuits I do carry
Seem to crumble into pieces
I’ve got an addictive craving
For them, peanut butter Reese’s

A creamy caramel sundae
Vanilla ice cream is divine
Or even chocolate bars or cones
I keep wishing they were all mine

A fanatic little foodie
Who just can’t seem to stop wanting
I think of food so frequently
Even nightmares they’ve been haunting
