Just A Bench Poem by Pamela lutwyche

Just A Bench

If a bench in the park
could tell a story
Of all the people
that has, sat there
What would it tell
Would it be a good story?
Or a sad story, ?
maybe a story from hell

It may tell about two lovers
Canoodling in the dark
Then the bench, saw them
Lie down and make love
Here in the park

Maybe it would be about a couple
Arguing and squabbling
And being quite rash
Then the poor bench
Would get a kicking
For just being there
For the couple have no regard
The couple really don't care

Maybe it would tell
of a planning
to end someone's life
Hearing a story from hell
That would certainly
not be nice.

The thing'sa bench hears
Imagine, if you could unlock it's voice
What would it tell?
Would it be good or
A story from hell?

Good one. In the 22nd Century we will have benches with AI advising bench couch potatoes to take it easy. Its well possible
