The mist is clouding my eyes,
The sun is starting to rise.
Yet I can still hear your voice,
I can still see the warmth of your smile.
Just like the sun breaking through the night.

Yet when I open my eyes,
I wonder how it could only be
Just a dream.
Tell me that it was real,
Tell me that it wasn't just me.
Please don't let it be just a dream.

You were so real,
I can still feel the warmth of your touch
The taste of your lips.
You made me feel like I was the world,
And I made you everything.

How could you be just a dream?
As I wake and look around,
I wonder where you went,
Where you could possibly be.

It was so real,
Tell me that it was real,
Tell me that it wasn't just me.
Please don't let it be just a dream.
You were so real,
You meant everything to me.
My world was finally truly happy.

How could you be just a dream?
Yet when I see the light,
And the dreams are fading away.
I know that you're not there.
I can still feel the warmth of your lips,
The way that you smiled at me.
