While you pave the way for your future,
the land beneath your feet awaits to welcome you.
The marble tombstone will rise to be your eternal home;
your bones will be all that's left of your dreams, woes and joys.
Yet, you grip to your illusions so tightly,
as if you will take them with you in the afterlife.
The world you inhabit with friends and family is only brief;
it is just a drop in a vast ocean.
Be in awe, love fully, live with childlike enthusiasm, breathe slowly and intently because time is slipping between your fingers child.
