Just Another Day Poem by Sandra Kaps

Just Another Day

When you're out there saving lives, you encounter some pretty weird stuff.

Like when Bobby from prison got a shampoo bottle stuck up… you know.

Or when I was searching was searching for bullet holes and I asked this kid how many times he was shot and he answers "It was my first time"

Or when this old man comes in saying that he took some vitamins and his leg started shaking. And we all know that he didn't take any vitamins.

But apparently it's all worth it.
Because you're out there saving lives, right?
