As the light fades to black,
I allow my eyes to close.
I'm overwhelmed by the pain,
although it never shows.

I'm being carried away,
so far away from here.
effortlessly drifting,
I'm leaving behind the fear.

leaving behind the heartache,
forgetting the chaos and despair.
I wonder if anyone will miss me,
or if anyone would even care.

with these thoughts I vanish,
just another poor lost soul.
roaming the world forever,
doomed to never again be whole.
