Just Another Sad Song
For him
I'll sing a sad song...
Although I don't know
That he would appreciate it...
More than likely he would request/demand
That I help him up, after he falls, and
Take care to brush him off...
Or perhaps he would want more
Of my singing.
As I rendered in quiet voice,
'People, People Who Need People'... or
Just another sad song!
