Just As Well Poem by Gwen Mathers

Just As Well

So much for second chances
She, alone, was only left.
Unwanted, betrayed, forgotten she danced
Trying her hardest to escape this mess.

All that she really had left
Were memories that didn't last long.
Withered away with pain, she grew mad
A life full of solitude, what did she expect?
