Just Be You
Do not value yourself
too highly in someone's eyes,
Neither undervalue yourself.
For you may go through life,
Always seeking to adjust,
And you may be disappointed,
Or you may disappoint.
Do what you know is right,
or needs doing,
Seek not to harm or hurt,
In word, deed or thought,
Mostly:
Just have peace being
Your decent human self.
