Just Because
Because tomorrow I will
love you more than I do today
and just as the river
continues to follow its path,
I can only continue to fall deeper.
Because every day
it's a bit closer to
impossible to walk away from you
and closer to my heart
you wander still.
Because I will continue
to love you more
with every sunrise
and each night spent
in your arms will
only bring a yearning
for the next.
