Today I had a spurt of energy.
I decided to clean house.
I scurried about
Like a hysterical mouse
Dusting, sweeping, and washing.
My darling children came home from school,
Seeing a vision of all I did do,
For them a comfortable and clean house.
They are smiling and shout,
Wow Mom you really fussed
Is there someone coming to visit us!
