Just Ignored Me Poem by Zimkitha Dreamhouse

Just Ignored Me

Rating: 4.5

Your conversations with me dwell on my tongue of so many words.
But they have never come out because you were never there.
I embrase your picture next to my bed and I call your name.
But its the echoes, hitting back on my spine, because you were never there.
I crave your enthusiasm and sharp intelect of swirling wisdom
But still you have never come.
I await, pondering, discovering who I am and who I can be with you.
But you were never there to validate and to appreciate this living me.
I beg for your skin that breathes life and seeks the human touch and so
I cry, because I have never connected, because you have never been there.
So ignored, so down played, so intrapped in my own shallow taste
of someone who could not, did not and never wanted to feel with me
Because he was never there.
