Just Love Poem by Ragy Sandid

Just Love

I ask for a lot, I know
But that's just a token
A way for me to know
What's between us wont' be broken

In love, everything matters
Because all merge in love
It's not so fragile it shatters
That doesn't mean to test its fall from above

In end, we are two, meant
To make this work in the end
It's in everyday things that we cement
The fine line between love and friend

I call you the same torment in my soul
And you call me the same
I can ask you things but I want you all
My destination becomes your aim

Space exists, its up to us to determine
How much of it we want between us
If we don't declare separation a sin
No one's heard of us or seen us

You send a message that I demand
I do because you will too
If love's arm doesn't end with a helping hand
Then love's embrace falls through

I ask for things, but I ask them of you
I know love is there living in you
You just forgot what it looked like
Love looks just like you.
