Just Me Poem by Kimberley Keller

Just Me

I’m sorry I’m not beautiful,
I’m sorry I’m not smart.
I’m sorry I’m not logical,
But I promise I have heart.

Sorry that I’ll never be,
All you planned for me.
All that I can gaurentee
Is I’ll always be me.

I’m judged by how I look and talk,
And how I stand and walk.
Not to mention work and play,
I’m judged hard everyday.

I’m really getting tired of it,
Tired of all this stress.
All you’re harsh words and actions,
Leaving my head a mess.

Please don’t take this critically,
I hope you understand.
All I’ve ever wanted,
Is to be accepted as I am.
