Just My Opinion Poem by Victoria Baumann

I stay close to pain and anger, that feels comfortable,
You tell me you want to take care of me but I'm unsupportable.
All I've known is absence,
To believe anything else doesn't make sense.
Despite the ties that would bind the majority,
My opinion of men, is that literally they are a minority.
I don't want to blame or make excuses for how things are,
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's scared.....
It's a little hard to believe in your out heart,
When it feels like its been torn apart.
So I think I'll just hang out here on the dark side,
I don't think I can take another stab at my pride.
