Just One Day - Poem by Mary Forrester

To be with you
For just one day
And hold you close to me
To watch that smile
Upon your face
And kiss you oh so sweetly
To see those eyes
Sparkling like the sun
To see those fears just disappear
As the dew meets the morning sun
To be with you
For just one day
And hold you close to me.

Poet's Notes about The Poem
