Just Thinking Poem by Sue Chuzi

I'm trying to think of writing a rhyme,
But perhaps I'd be wasting my time.
What shall the topic be right now;
will it help to furrow my brow.
Shall it be political or analytical;
Or shall it be useful and somewhat critical.
Shall it be deep and most profound,
Or shall it be shallow and unbound,
There are times when I can't write
As fast as the thoughts that come to light.
I'm thinking so hard as to what to say,
Deciding may just take me all day.
I know that all this will not be in vain;
There is nothing like exercising your brain.
