Just wondering...
If we could just stop
All the name calling
And useless ballyhoo
Have Congress
And the Senate
Do what they're
Supposed to do
Help the President
Make us strong and great
Do it soon
Or it might be to late
Hard times are here
Don't make it worse
Be part of the cure
Not the curse
Try to live
To free your mind
Push out the hate
Leave it behind
Stand strong and proud
Be grateful to
Think of the country
What you can do
United we stand
Divided we'll fall
Help when you can
Don't ignore the call
This place, this time
When we are all free
Should be cherished
If only we'd open our eyes to see
