Just You Babe Poem by Charlene Rawson

Just You Babe

the girl who you turnt to last,
broke you into a thousand pieces
im not a prayer or a beggar,
but if it helps im on my knees pleading with your pain
when it starts raining ill still be saying'
ill do anything to prove i love you
im prepared to pay for her mistakes,
however long that takes
baby we're gonna make this work
don't worry about getting hurt your my everything
i just wish you could see what i see
tears dropp smack bang on the floor whenever we argue
that doesn't mean i don't love you
open your eyes see im here waiting to make you mine forever
my finger is already yours gimme the sign
ill spend 50years fighting to show you ima give you my best
put your hand upon my chest feel my heart beating
i aint cheating baby
