ANJALI KAKATI

kash...

kash....
Kabhi aap samajh paate
Mere shabdo ki nahi
Mere hriday ki bhasha.
Dekh paate,
Mere hotho ke muskarahat ke pare
Mere palko me chuupi ghata.
Kabhi sunte mere sannate
Ki bojhal vayatha.
Mehsoos karte
Har saaans me
bujhti,
jalti
Mere sapno ki shama.
Kabhi jaan pate
iss nashwar se deh
me base
aatman ki ankahi dastann.
Par shayad
Ye hona na tha
Hume youn tooth kar bikharna hi tha
Aap aakhir marichika ho mere ragistan ke
Yo aap ko paakar khona hi tha.
Par phir bhi
kash...
kabhi aap....-anjali

poet Sarah Flower Adams

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
