Keep What You Do Real Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Keep What You Do Real

Keep it real.
Be bold.
Reveal the ingredients,
Applied to the uniqueness of your flavor.
Why leave it concealed.
Who else but you,
Can produce what you offer.
To lay it out in clear view.
On a menu that is you to select or refuse.

Keep it real.
Never imitated.
Stay original.
Know what you do,
No one can say they can find...
Anywhere else.
To compare it in the way,
You alone can present it.
This you to stay the you to be.

If your presentation is not what is preferred.
Don't worry about it.
Keep what you do real.
Keep what you do yours and original.

What you have is to be valued.
Leave others to seek imitations.
Limited to various faked creations.
Eventually they will come to appreciate,
The taste of reality.
Yours to know from experiencing doubt.
And mistakes made to find this out.

Keep it real.
In everything done you do.
You decide what to add and offer.
It will still be your menu.
There and not to mistake,
The flavor and taste.
Stay unique.
These days...
The doing of it should not be difficult.
