Keepsake Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Keepsake

It filtered through my thoughts
Like a waterfall from time
Overwhelming the senses with memory

Joggling the cranium of mixed emotions
I poured the contents into disregard
Showing the world an open wound

Often we pass the love auction
As fools bid their flat egos for
A collection of broken hearts

Encapsulated by deceit.
