KHWAAB

Har woh khwaab rangeen hoti hai jis khwaab mein sanam tum aati ho,
Har woh pal yaadgaar hoti hai jo pal sanam tum mere saath rehati ho,
Har woh bol meethi hoti hai jo bol sanam tum mujhse baatein karti ho,
Har woh din suhana hota hai jo din sanam tum mere hi sang bitati ho.

Hum tum do kinaare hai saagar ke aur yeh saagar mohabbat hai apni,
Yeh kaisi mohabbat hai sanam jo itne door rehakar humein tadapati hai,
Kya hum dono mein lagi mohabbat ki aag yeh sagar kabhi buja paayegi,
Kya do premi ki mohabbat ki tadap yeh duniya kabhi samajh paayegi.

Yeh kaisa insaaf hai khuda ka sanam jo milaya hai par milan nahin ki,
Yeh kaisa nirday khuda hai sanam jo na samajhe pyaar hum dono ki,
Ai khuda hum tumse karte hai dua samajhle tu pyaar do premi ke,
Itna na tu tadapa hum dono ko ke hum jeene ke hi chaha chod de.

Tu ne hi banaya hai rishta hum dono mein ab tujhe ise nibhana bhi hoga,
Chahe duniya se tujhe ab ladna pade hum dono ko tujhe milana hi hoga,
Ek tere siwa yahan koi nahin jo pyaar hum dono ka samajh sakte hai,
Ab chahe mila ya mita de humein hum apni mohabbat tere kadmon mein rakhte hai.

Poem of the Day

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
