Kid. Poem by Bailey Burris

Kid.

A lucidor a movie start, an athlete, chase the stars.
I believe in you, no matter who you are.
And I will love you, no matter where you are.
Please, follow your path, where you’re dreams lead you
And I will stand by you, and I will stand up for you.
I don’t know you yet, or the color of your hair
But you should know, I will always be there.
You’ll be beautiful, in and out,
And you’re the only thing that I care about.
It’s unbelievable, the amount of love I have for you.
Yet you don’t exist yet, you haven’t been created.
But I know up there, somewhere
That my god knows your every hair.
And what I would give, to kiss your little face.
I miss you more then anyone.
Yet, I haven’t met you, my little one.
All the songs on the radio, they’re not for the boys, they’re for you,
Singing ‘I just haven’t me you yet’ it’s nothing new
I’ve wanted you since I since my heart begun.
And I will adore you, till I am done.
And with every wish upon a star,
I pray to God, that you’re not to far.
