How well children conduct themselves
With innocence and candour much!
Although they try to ape adults,
They do most things in ways unique.
They love to play and talk and joke,
And put their minds and hearts and souls,
In everything they deliberate,
Without a trace of selfishness.
Heralds heaven's hues on their faces,
In all the things they tend to do;
Adults are surprised at kid-stuff;
May be, God guides them through angels.
Kids are wonderful to watch;
They keep people around lively;
Their childish ways are lovely fun;
Adults wish they could be like them.
