Kindly Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Kindly

Kindly

Can someone say, kindly
What is technology?

What is the base of call?
(From home to sky
And heavens to the mall!)

What are rays and the waves?
Do they move like water?
(And do they occupy
A brook or canal?)

What about energy?
Cold or hot of A/C?

And what about electric?
Heaters, lights in the bulbs?

Are they just of fossil?
Or also atomic?
And maybe from wind?

Do they have their rivers?
And the lakes and oceans?

If they do occupy
Some space around us
Like nature's, galaxies'
It is time to rethink.

Be careful and cautious
Of coming futures
With grandchildren.

They will curse ancestors
Meaning you and myself
Existing, egoist generation

Selfishly, we brag, brainless:
"We have all the answers! "
But do we? Really?
